Meet your dentist, Dr. Amanda Magid

Dr. Magid is very excited to be bringing the quality of Willis and Associates Family Dentistry to the people of Roanoke, one beautiful smile at a time. Dr. Amanda Magid was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She has lived in many different areas of the country throughout her childhood, including, Colorado and North Dakota, but is happy to now call the beautiful Roanoke Area her home. She attended the University of North Dakota where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2011. She spent the next 4 years in Morgantown, WV where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Magid then went on to Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. She received additional training in advanced dental procedures with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Magid enjoys spending her time reading, cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys antiquing and furniture restoration as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Magid is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
